"Insight into the Workings of a Game Master" with Myles Nye.
In this presentation, Myles will describe his work creating games for reality TV and the corporate world. Expect to play some games and learn about this fascinating training niche.
Myles Nye is co-founder and COO of Wise Guys Events, a Los Angeles based company specializing in real life adventure games. Myles has been a challenge consultant for the last 5 seasons of Survivor, including China, Micronesia, Tocantins, and two seasons in Samoa. Myles's challenges have also appeared on VH1's reality show Tool Academy. When he is not creating challenges for reality TV, Myles puts on local games in Southern California. His company Wise Guys has made games for the Egyptian Theater's celebration of Elvis's 75th birthday party, the La Brea Tar Pits annual member events, and MTV's The Hills, as well as countless corporate team building and non-profit groups. Myles is an improviser with ComedySportz LA, the longest running show in LA and he is a contributing puzzler to the Enigma, the newsletter of the National Puzzlers League. He loves games of all varieties and is married to a beautiful neuroscientist. |
