Learning Innovations in Project Management Training
Presented by Bill Fournet
Brace yourself for a dynamic, interactive and engaging session that will present project management in a whole new light. Never before has PM training been this much fun!
The evening will focus on one of project management’s fundamentals: risk. We’ll do risk identification in an interactive approach that everyone can use back at the office to ensure that project leaders are accurately identifying risks and then preventing them from becoming reality. This is a theory-free, lecture-free workshop! Prepare to think!
Bill Fournet, CEO and founder of the Persimmon Group, uses the popular Discovery Channel series, Deadliest Catch, to create a simulated risk identification exercise in a team setting where we can apply these preemptive techniques to projects. By identifying common organizational and industrial project risks, learn how to spend less time reacting to problems and begin avoiding catastrophes. What we’ll learn to do:
-
Understand new tools and techniques for project management training delivery
-
Improve effectiveness of training techniques and improve results
-
Enhance understanding of key objectives for project management training
-
Understand how project management training relates to other training curricula
We all manage projects at some point. We have all seen projects managed into chaos, or just managed less expertly than we knew was possible. Avoid those pitfalls and have a useful mental framework in place when your next project launches — thanks to this chapter meeting.
