Learning Innovations in Project Management Training

A one-day workshop presented by Bill Fournet

What is the workshop about?

Bill will engage participants in discussions and lead interactive exercises in exercises to enhance the effectiveness of your organization’s people, including:

·         Exploring the benefits of increased project communication and transparency

·         Exploring the triple constraint of PM (cost, time, scope) and the disciplines needed to keep it in balance

·         Expanding your project management vision based on industry trends and practices

Participants will explore key project management approaches that support the multi-generational workforce. Learn tools and techniques for project management training delivery. Help integrate PM training delivery with your organization’s other curricula.Work through several topics, ranging from communications to the project management golden triangle (scope, cost, time), to best practices in hands-on, experiential exercises. This will give participants new ideas about what project management is and how we deliver it to our organization. Participants will learn techniques to apply immediately.

Who should attend?

Do you manage projects? Do you anticipate adding that responsibility as your career progresses? Would you like to learn PM at the project’s expense, or become more skilled at project management before your first project team meeting? We all have skills-polishing to do in project management. Do it with an expert!

Who is presenting the workshop session?

Bill Fournet is founder and CEO of The Persimmon Group, a consulting and training firm headquartered in Tulsa with an additional office in Oklahoma City. TPG specializes in project management training and business consulting. Bill says, "I am constantly looking for new and creative ways to enhance our training delivery and increase the benefit to participants. This workshop will focus on the learning innovations that I employ on a daily basis as I not only train, but inspire clients to rethink the way they manage their projects. Overall, this is a dynamic session that will enlighten the audience with regard to the project management training space and will offer innovative, yet practical approaches that can be applied to numerous other training situations.”
