In
early 2009 Doug Miller was working on a training project that was suddenly
cancelled and he was quickly thrown into job search mode. He started actively
searching using everything from working with a career and resume coach, social
networking, applying to posts on online job sites and face to face networking.
He was able to find and land a job in three months. You won't believe how
he actually found it! Join us to hear his story and get the answers to your
tough job search related questions!
A
message from Doug Miller…
On
April 6th, I am going to share my story, my process, my systems, and techniques
at the Job Search Special Division meeting.
In
my attempt to turn convention upside down and get you thinking differently,
here are some of the topics I plan on addressing. Please leave a comment and
let me know your thoughts:
*
How to feel empowered when you have NO power
*
Why what matters to you deeply matters
*
What to rely on when you can't rely on yourself
*
Why doing activities that lead to NO results are so important
*
Completely take advantage of your network and suck them dry
