Take Charge of Your Emotions: Learn How to Manage Your Emotional Intelligence (Part II)
"Out of control emotions can have a massive impact on how others perceive you.”
Emotional Intelligence (EI) was defined by Daniel Goleman as "the capacity for recognizing our own feelings and those of others, for motivating ourselves, for managing emotions well in ourselves and in our relationships.” (Book - Working with Emotional Intelligence). This meeting will follow-up from the January meeting with Dr. Andrea Bernstein, which focused on the first two components of Emotional Intelligence – Self Awareness and Self Management. The journey will continue in February with a focus on the final two EI "domains” – Social Awareness and Relationship Management.
During the meeting, participants will:
- Learn concepts that will allow them to better understand others. - Understand how to improve relationships with others. - Practice using and observing EI competencies through an interactive exercise.
